"Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you- it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you… Hopefully, you leave something good behind."

Sometimes I wish I lived another life. Not that mine is bad but just something different. A different place where I did different things and was surrounded by different people. Sometimes I feel like I am stuck like I cannot change my life. It sounds silly because I try different things and meet new people but it is not enough. I fear not being able to get off this track and guide my own life.

Went here ^ today :)

Really excited I got to go see it because ever since I saw a picture (on Tumblr actually) it’s been on my things-to-see-in-Guatemala list. It’s usually closed apparently so I didn’t get to see inside, but I got some great pictures I can’t wait to upload!

new definition to #waterbed?

Think. Want. Get.

What if what we think we want isn’t what we want at all? What if we focus on what we “want” so much that we miss out on right now? What happens when we get what’s meant to be and look back at the time spent wanting?
